Aspley Evangelical Church Nottingham is a group of ordinary people whose lives have been transformed by Jesus Christ.

We are a local Church, made up of Christians from a variety of backgrounds and walks of life, with a desire to serve the community. Although we do not belong to one of the major Christian groups, we are part of the mainstream Christian faith and have friendly links with other churches in the area.

What we believe...

Being a Christian is more than simply attending church, behaving religiously and trying to do our best. It is all to do with having a relationship with Jesus Christ, which results in having peace with God, being given meaning and direction in life and being made part of God's family.

We accept the Bible as inspired by God, so we try to study and explain its teaching and follow what it says. The heart of what we believe centres around the historical person of Jesus Christ. He was fully God but revealed to us in human form to show us what God is like. He died to deal once and for all with the problem caused by our rebellion against God. He rose again from the dead and is alive to welcome all who come to Him.
